From Corporate Life to Birding Adventures: The Birth of Travelderness
Sachin Pushkarna, Founder, Travelderness
Beginning a new chapter in his life, once he quit his corporate job and moved closer to the hills in Uttarakhand, it was one fateful day that Sachin started noticing birds around the Jungle Lore resort in Pangot, and the love story began. Since that day in April 2016 till today, he has traveled extensively around the country to almost all birding hotspots, observing and learning about birds.
For him, every travel, every visit to any part of the world, brings with it the excitement of discovering a new bird or coming across a stunning beauty from before.
This passion for birds led him to start Travelderness later in 2016, to showcase the amazing biodiversity that India possesses to the world. His experience of different geographies, landscapes, and the biodiversity of each place has helped him design multi-day birding trips across the country for his foreign guests. Every trip is tailor-made and customized to the core, keeping the guests’ requirements in mind.
It’s not just the birds—it’s the culture, the varied landscapes, the people, and the rich history amalgamated into an experience that he endeavors to bring forth to his guests across the world.
Sachin is a master in Computers and used to work in the Telecom VAS industry in Delhi before moving to Uttarakhand. Coming from that background, he is well-versed in English and Hindi and strives to understand the requirements of his fellow travelers to the hilt. You can communicate with him about life, love, and God, apart from the usual talks about birds and wildlife.
